NLP Practitioner Course comments:

Loved the course. Best NLP course I ever attended. Would recommend. No ego trainer. No “look how smart I am”. 11 out of 10! Allowed and used humour. SR, Herts

Fantastic course. Will definitely recommend. Have already seen positive changes in personal and professional life and have no doubt what I have learnt will take e to a new level. Relaxed atmosphere, good delivery, extremely helpful and patient and enjoyable. See you next year! RL, Watford

Great trainers with really good presentation style helping to make the course simple to understand with good practical exercises. Thoroughly enjoyable course, really informative well organised and presented and clearly makes the mind think.

I enjoyed the course and felt the pace was particularly good. The information was delivered in a timely manner. I also like the fact that I did not have to take hardly any notes so I could concentrate on listening. AH, S. London

“ The course was very interesting and there was a lot of useful content. I particularly enjoyed the practical exercises. I have read about them but there is no substitute for actually doing them.”

Education and NLP

"The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."
- Morrie Schwartz

Everyone has an interest in education.  Education takes us into our future - in 2065 the children of now will be retiring!  So education is the key to capturing our children's potential - both their creativity and academia.  NLP training provides an awareness about the potential all children have and utilises their passions and drive.  We encourage children to achieve their potential, not their parents or society's concept of what they should do!

Would it be useful to learn how different children might be motivated, how they view and experience the world and be able to actively encourage their potential abilities?  NLP is the result of Psychological research into human behaviour, and so is a feast of information into just how the human brain works - just the ticket for the Educators of the future.

Perhaps you've noticed certain students learn by watching and seeing things done, others learn by listening to instructions, and others prefer to "do" something practical and learn by doing.  Yet others' may need to understand the processes and want to know "Why?"

You can learn exactly how to present information to suit all children at once.

Specifically for Classrooms, you can learn about:

  • Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic (VAK) Preferences for learning styles,
  • accommodating these styles in the classroom
  • recognising your own preferred style and strengthening weaker styles
  • preferred language hierarchy - big picture vs details
  • resolving conflicts during discussions
  • disciplining with elegance and compassion
  • maintaining authority without aggression
  • creating relevance in the classroom
  • using the 4mat system to present information, in written or spoken form
  • using your awareness to know if your message is getting across
  • using sensory acuity to create rapport with pupils
  • maintaining interest all day
  • using metaphors constructively
  • motivating pupils according to their preference - are they away froms or towards?
  • using Spelling Strategies correctly
  • using eye patterns to aide learning details and times tables

Education is the perfect setting for NLP, and above are just a few examples of how it's used.  The NLP training skills can be applied from before you even get into the classroom and combined with the Presenting Naturally Academy training  (included)- which you can of course teach others - you will know how to present your ideas to other parents, teachers, pupils, board of governers etc.

The processes start from supporting the Teacher with knowledge they have the skills and resources within themselves to teach, and teach well.  Self belief is key in any arena, and certainly in a teaching and training environment.  The NLP course has a number of processes that enable teachers to have greater confidence in themselves and put together classes in a structured way that all their pupils, of whatever age, will find interesting and useful and more importantly, relevant to them - so they will want to learn.  Using the VAK system means that schools can comply with government directives in the classroom.

Knowing how to use language precisely and purposefully makes a huge difference in any classroom, and children are particularly perceptive to language.  Teachers already know that positive thinking has positive impact in their classrooms.  Now you can learn how to use language in a way that is accessible to hear for all your students.  Learn how to get the classroom into a state of learning, where curiosity and interest reign and see the results in their attitudes and performance.

Teaching requires flexibility from the teacher, to be able to adapt to the needs of the classroom, whose abilities and requirements vary.  NLP training offers a number of tools and processes that make that flexibility easy and fun, for you and your students.

NLP is fast becoming recognised as a practical skill for all interaction.  Schools are learning the value as individual teachers adopt the techniques and put them into practice.  By becoming an NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner, you can provide teaching sessions for your school, especially in the Preparation for Life area.  The great thing is, you can also teach the principles of NLP to the children.  Behaviour changes immediately with simple learnings such as "All behaviour is motivated by a positive intent", and "The unconscious mind does not process negatives".

Helping older children to focus on what they want in life and getting them to understand learning is life long, will allow children to evolve into adults with continued energy, curiosity, interest and passion for life, and all the excitement and learnings of the future.

Paul Penney is a school teacher and he writes: "I hope that as many more fast track teachers are given the NLP skills to be successful teachers, they will realise that these skills can be taught to their students.  This can and will change the world of teaching and learning from being a results driven factory to a world where rapport, communication and learning are open to all."

If you have been teaching for many years, or missed out on NLP training in your teacher training, talk to us and we can explain the possibilities for you.  You may qualify for a reduction for early booking too.  This is a life long skill that will serve you in teaching and in life - others as well as your own!
